[サイエンスショップ] 第16回 兵庫サイエンス E-cafe 「高校生による科学研究」
The 16th Hyogo Science E-cafe "Student Presentations! "
In this Cafe we will have high school students come and present on the research they are doing at their schools!
We have three different presentations. Here are the topics and abstract:
Topic: Killing mites with good smells
Abstract: Essential oils have miticidal effect. It’s a natural mite-killing drug, so it’s rather safe. We collected various data on miticidal effect in order to analyze the effectiveness and to find the mechanism.
Topic: How to breed Amoeba easily and Volvox’s Phototaxis
Abstract: Our research is to observe how volvox act under various circumstances: changing the lights wavelength, or temperature, etc; and to breed Amoeba in an easy way.
Topic: Making a capsule of Sericine
Abstract: Sericine is a protein made by silkworms and is very useful. We try to make a capsule of Sericine.
